Like A Dream Come True
I didn’t know that life could be
So beautiful yet funny
It had in store what I saw
As a colloquial dream
But then it was ‘awe’.
You were there right in front me
Like just what the dream used to be
I wish I could touch you
And see if you are real
You’re but like a dream come true.

nice!! so u finally wrote a positive poem, but its true that serious or sad poems are more touching, which is why i write sad ones mostly. is it just me or is there a hint of sadness in the poem??? dreams are unattainable...n dreams seldom come true
I guess the right word would be 'emotional' and not 'sad'. The beauty in such poems is that they are pure and straight from the heart. Other poems need to be manipulated before they can be made colorful!
Yes, I know dreams don't come true :( But it's not the same always. I have seen some wonderful things too. Waiting for more :D
