Strangers Once More

Strangers once more

Let us become

I forget everything

Like you were never the one.

Memories washed

For innocent eyes

A free mind

No more cries.

My life will change

I know for sure

Only if we could become

Strangers once more.

wow thats a coincidence, jus yesterday i wrote a short article on the concept of becoming strangers once again on my blog(thanks for ur comment), and ive been wanting to write a poem on it too, but after reading urs i think that watever i write will look like i stole words from u, what i mean to say is that reading your poem was like reading my own ideas and thoughts. i will have to think of another topic to write on ;)

Yes, it was your article that prompted me to write this. It was just impulsive and I found the words to my poem. I even had these lines which I didn't publish ...

Head held above
Shoulders wide
In the open land
I walk with pride.

Fearless I become
Win every game
Build my own world
Written under my name.

My life will change
I know for sure
If only we could become
Strangers once more.

some unpublished lines here too-

Those silent hours frozen in time
when a stranger's breath mingled with mine,
our hearts beat out together
as we watched our souls entwine.

Life has brought us back to where
we dont recognize each other anymore,
everything has changed and yet nothing has
strangers we were, strangers we are once more
